Terms of use

Your files and backups

Flownapse is a local-first application. You choose where your vault files are stored and whether they are synchronized through a third-party provider. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and for confirming that exports or synchronization have completed before deleting an original copy.

Your content

You retain your rights in the content you create or import. You are responsible for that content and must have the rights needed to use, copy, synchronize, share, or process it through Flownapse and any service you connect.

Third-party services

Flownapse can connect to operating-system features and independent providers such as cloud-storage, source-control, speech-recognition, or agent services. Their own terms, availability, charges, and privacy practices apply. Flownapse does not control those services and is not responsible for changes or interruptions they cause.

Free and Pro features

Free provides a complete local workspace within the limits shown in the application and does not require a product account. Pro adds subscription features such as additional vaults and projects, synchronization, collaboration, full offline webpage capture, advanced mindmap presentation, and rendered export. Features and limits may evolve prospectively, but access to your existing local files will not depend on an active subscription.

Subscriptions and billing

Pro may be offered monthly or yearly through the storefront or payment channel displayed during checkout. The price, currency, trial if any, taxes, and billing period shown by that channel apply. A subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it through the billing channel by the deadline that channel displays.

The United States launch prices are $7.99 per month and $59.99 per year. Other storefronts may use localized prices. Eligible new subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial when that offer appears during checkout. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected plan renews at the price and interval shown by the storefront.

The storefront or payment provider processes charges, manages cancellation and refunds, and supplies the controlling billing terms. Cancel through the same channel that billed you. Deleting a product account does not cancel an active subscription, and canceling a subscription does not delete your local files.

Linking Pro to a product account lets Flownapse recognize the same entitlement on supported platforms. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for using the same product account when restoring access on another device.

Downgrade and local files

When Pro expires, Flownapse stops new Pro-only actions. Existing local notes, tasks, mindmaps, vaults, Frames, Clips, and other files remain readable and can be deleted or backed up in their raw form. Flownapse does not intentionally hide or delete local content because a subscription ended. Flownapse-managed synchronization may stop. Operating systems and connected providers may continue handling files that remain in a provider-controlled location, such as an iCloud Drive folder, under their own rules.

Voice and optional automation

Review voice-created content before relying on it because speech recognition can be inaccurate. If you enable automation in a supported edition, you are responsible for the tools, permissions, policies, and commands you configure and for reviewing their output.

Acceptable use

Do not use Flownapse to violate the law, infringe another person's rights, bypass access controls, distribute malicious code, or cause harm to systems or people. Do not interfere with the application or attempt to use it in a way that prevents others from using their own devices or connected services.

Application license

Subject to these terms and the rules of the store or channel from which you obtained Flownapse, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the application on devices you own or control. Mandatory platform-store terms also apply and control if they conflict with this license.

Open-source components

Flownapse includes open-source components licensed under their own terms. Those licenses remain in force and are available from the application's Settings screen. Nothing in these terms limits rights granted by an applicable open-source license.

Availability and changes

Flownapse may receive fixes, security updates, feature changes, or compatibility changes. The application and connected features may not always be available. You may stop using Flownapse at any time and should export or retain any files you want to keep before removing the application.

Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Flownapse is provided as available, without promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Flownapse is not a substitute for professional advice or a guaranteed backup service. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer guarantees or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated for future releases. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will apply prospectively, subject to any notice required by law.
