Flownapse Agent Helper
Hand a task to an agent on your Mac.
The Agent Helper is a small, free app that runs the agents you already use on your Mac, such as Codex and Claude Code, on the tasks you give them in Flownapse. Install it once on the Mac where those agents live.
Requires macOS 14 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon.
Install it
- Open the downloaded disk image.
- Drag Flownapse Agents into your Applications folder.
- In Flownapse on that Mac, open Settings, choose Agents, and choose “I installed it - check again”.
- Turn on agents, then connect the agents you want to use.
Why it is a separate download
Flownapse from the Mac App Store runs inside Apple’s app sandbox. An agent needs your own sign-in, your folders and your tools, which the sandbox does not allow an App Store app to reach. The helper runs beside Flownapse, outside that sandbox, so each agent works exactly as you set it up.
What it does and does not do
- It starts an agent only for a task you assigned to that agent in Flownapse, in the folder you chose for it.
- It never asks for an agent password or key. It uses the sign-in you already have on your Mac.
- It sends nothing to Flownapse. Results are written to your vault like any other edit and reach your other devices through the sync you already use.
- Turn agents off in Flownapse at any time. To remove the helper, move Flownapse Agents from Applications to the Bin.
On iPhone, iPad and Android
Agents run on a Mac. Once an agent is connected there, you can give it tasks and read what it did from any device that syncs the same vault.
